Storytelling, Drumming, and Hiking the Galligator Trail.
“Our oral traditions are fading to a great degree. Experiences worthy of reception are still out there. But it may be that our abilities to tell stories in public–whether we’re relating them in front of a campfire or at a city council meeting–have deteriorated. And yet, there’s something about a good story that still resonates with many people. Look at This American Life or This I Believe, two popular radio storytelling formats–storytellers and listeners alike The Full Moon Story Telling event will be an exploration in the art of storytelling…with an environmental or social twist, of course! It will showcase several stories told publicly by your neighbors. And will conclude with drumming by Chet Leach and the Rhythm and Drum group and a community stroll down the Galligator Trail. Join us for a great evening for inspired Bozemanites.” Max Smith- Leading the Community in the 1000 Gardens Project.
